The problem: information limitation
Many infrastructure maintainers struggle with unreliable vehicle weight measurements and bridge condition information, leading to wasted budgets and missed renovation opportunities. AI-assisted Bridge Weigh-in-Motion
Enhance your current infrastructure management with our AI-assisted Bridge Weigh-in-Motion system (B-WIM). B-WIM monitors vehicle loads without causing bottlenecks or delays, eliminating any congestion associated with traditional weigh stations. The sensors comprising the measurement system are mounted directly on the bridge’s supporting structure (not on the roadway) so their installation and maintenance do not disrupt traffic with road closures or detours. Use on bridges limits or eliminates illegal bypassing. Delivers real-time vehicle weight measurements with Class A accuracy, as defined by COST 323. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, the accuracy of each system improves over time. Further, due to their placement, our sensors are significantly less susceptible to measurement distortions resulting from environmental factors (e.g., temperature, rutting). Our team provides expert guidance on optimizing sensor arrangements into your bridge. These factors also enhance traffic safety by eliminating the need for trucks to change lanes, exit, and merge traffic. A monthly or annual fee covers implementation, operation, monitoring, reporting, maintenance, and enhancements.
