In a world where infrastructure maintainers face pressing challenges related to effective bridge maintenance, BridgeAID began its journey in 2023 with a mission to empower decision-making through precise monitoring and digital solutions. The need for accurate axle weight measurements and bridge condition data has never been more critical, especially as many bridges in Europe exceed 100 years of age, nearing their design life.

Yet, many infrastructure maintainers rely on inaccurate vehicle weight measurements and insufficient data on bridge conditions. As a result, they are left frustrated – unable to make informed budget decisions and continuously wasting money on unreliable data. They deserve better. They should not manage with tools from the past while striving to keep our transport systems safe and operational.

Our first operational solution is deployed on the Monostori Bridge in Komárom, at the border between Hungary and Slovakia.
